My 80 lb. Hoyt soon after this video was shot downed a big, 1,500 lb. Cape buffalo at 62 yards, so for pretty much anything but hippo either of these bows are deadly as it gets in archery. For hippo I'd go with a 100 lb. bow, cut on contact broadheads and a 1,000 grain arrow. Hippos are solid!!!!!
